• Old School WWF Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 91st birthday of Old School WWF Legend “Lord” Alfred Hayes.
Lord Alfred Hayes was considered the voice of the World Wrestling Federation for the 80s & early 90s, hosting popular segments like ‘WWF Update’ and working as a backstage interviewer and announcer.
He was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018 as part of their annual Legacy Wing inductions.

• WWE Officials Discussing “Legend Killer” Gimmick For Dolph Ziggler
According to Brad Shepard, Randy Orton’s old “Legend Killer” gimmick could be given to Dolph Ziggler, along with Orton’s old “Burn In My Light” theme song.
This would make sense since Ziggler has been talking thrash about the legends as of late.
It should be noted that there have only been discussions about this, so nothing is confirmed.
Below is what Brad said on his podcast:
“There has been talk of Dolph Ziggler coming out to the ‘Burn In My Light’ theme for SummerSlam. I don’t know if it’s gonna happen, but WWE is hoping this legend killer gimmick will catch on.
Again, I have to preface this. Because this was a conversation that was had internally about doing it and you know five days from now the decision may be no. Three days from now the decision may be no, but it’s a conversation they definitely had.”
