• WWE Planting Seeds For Major PPV Match At SmackDown 1000

According to the No Holds Barred podcast, The Rock will appear on next week’s historic 1000 episode of SmackDown, SmackDown 1000.

However, it wouldn’t just be a normal appearance. It is also being reported that WWE is set to plant seeds for a future PPV match (possibly at Royal Rumble 2019 or WrestleMania 35) for The Rock at SmackDown 1000.

This is interesting as The Rock is rumored to face Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 35, but Reigns isn’t a part of SmackDown.

If these reports turn out to be true, then this would either mean that The Rock would feud with a SmackDown Live Superstar or possibly build to a long awaited ‘one more match’ (or Last Time Ever) with Triple H (who will appear on SmackDown 1000 as a part of Evolution).

We’ll keep you updated regarding The Rock’s status.

For SmackDown 1000, WWE has confirmed Evolution reunion and the return of Rey Mysterio so far.
