Let us take a look at the top 8 WWE News & Professional Wrestling stories of the hour:

8. Sasha Banks Still Scheduled To Capture The WWE Women’s Title At SummerSlam 2016
Former NXT Women’s Champion “The Boss” Sasha Banks is still expected to become the new WWE Women’s Champion at SummerSlam 2016. This has been the plan since April but doubts were created in between due to Sasha’s health.

Sasha suffered a concussion during a live event a couple of months back and she was out of action. This led to WWE officials thinking that she might be injury prone and it would not be a smart decision to put the Title on her. But that’s not the case anymore as Sasha & Charlotte are involved in a feud now.

Previously it was expected that the match might take place at Battleground 2016 this Sunday but WWE is saving that match for SummerSlam 2016 now. Sasha & Charlotte will now be involved in a Tag Team match at Battleground 2016 this Sunday where the team of Charlotte & Dana Brooke faces the team of Sasha Banks and a mystery partner of her choosing. It is being rumored that Bayley might be the one who becomes Sasha’s partner but it could possibly end up being Carmella (who is rumored to get drafted to either Raw or SmackDown on this week’s Draft).

7. General Managers of Raw & SmackDown Revealed

Stephanie & Shane McMahon kicked off tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. Stephanie noted that a Cruiserweight division will be launching soon and it will be exclusive to Raw.

Stephanie then revealed WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley as the General Manager of Raw! Shane then revealed Daniel Bryan as the General Manager of SmackDown.
