Up next is the match to crown the 1st ever Universal Champion. “The Man” Seth Rollins is out first. Out next is “The Demon King” Finn Balor.

The Demon King gets the early advantage in the match as he has been laying out Rollins all around the ring. It should be noted that it was announced the match can only end via pinfall or submission.
Balor is torturing Rollins. Balor has a little different face paint from the one he had on Raw.

Rollins hits a Frog Splash from a very long distance and the Demon King looks in trouble. Rollins is toying with the former NXT Champion. Balor turns the momentum in his favor by laying Rollins out with a DDT. “Lets go Balor, Lets go Rollins” chants by the crowd. Balor drives Rollins out of the ring with a series of hard strikes. Rollins look rattled and Balor gets him in the ring again and lays him out yet again.
Rollins comes back in the match with a dropkick. Back & forth action between the two ends up with both of them being layed out. Balor hits the 1916 but Rollins kicks out. Rollins locks in the Triangle choke but Balor manages to break it by getting out of the ring. Rollins hits a Buckle Bomb followed by a Superkick and goes for the pin but Balor kicks out. Rollins is talking thrash to Balor and hits him with continues right hands and then lays him out with a small package driver but Balor still kicks out.
Rollins goes to the top rope but Balor knocks him down. Balor hits him with a running drop kick. Balor hits the Coup De Grace on the back of the head of Rollins but Rollins kicks out. Balor goes for the move again and misses. This leads to Rollins hitting the Pedigree and going for a pin but Balor kicks out!
