WWE Super ShowDown 2020 – 7 Legends Who Might Wrestle At The PPV

Sting WWE Super ShowDown 2020

“The Icon” Sting had a very short career in the WWE due to a career-threatening neck injury.

He made his in-ring debut for the company at WrestleMania 31 in 2015, where he lost to Triple H. His second and last WWE PPV match was against Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Night Of Champions later that year, where he suffered a neck injury and had to hang up his boots.

It’s been over 4 years since Sting has wrestled in a WWE ring. His last appearance on TV was at WrestleMania 32, where he appeared as a part of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016.

PWInsider is reporting that Sting is scheduled to be a huge part of WWE Super ShowDown 2020 in Saudi Arabia this month. It may even be a wrestling role.

Although current plans don’t include a match against The Undertaker, they could change anytime. WWE officials have been hoping to get Sting cleared to compete for a while now, so they can have the two face off at WrestleMania 36 or at a PPV in Saudi Arabia.

The Icon himself said in an interview with Wrestling Travel that he would only come out of retirement for one opponent, and that is The Undertaker.

Whoever Sting goes against, him returning for one more match would be a miracle.
