Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day:

• After getting fired from AEW, CM Punk is a Free Agent. There are rumors going on that he could return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 in Chicago later this month.

Scott D’Amore has noted in interviews that he’d be open to Punk returning to TNA. IMPACT Wrestling is going back to their TNA name on January 13, 2024.

At Cage Fighting Fury Championship’s CFFC 127 event on UFC Fight Pass, Punk was on commentary once again and his fellow commentators joined in on the fun and dropped teases for Punk possibly going to WWE or TNA.

One of the commentators had a WWE logo on his pocket square, while the other one mentioned “Total Nonstop Action” (TNA).

• ESPN interviewed new United States Champion Logan Paul, where he was asked about facing fellow WWE celebrity wrestler Bad Bunny, who is 2-1 in WWE (a singles and tag team match victory, and a Royal Rumble match loss). Below are the highlights:

On possibly facing Bad Bunny in WWE:

“I’m going to leave that up to Triple H, but I will say one thing: Mr. Bunny don’t want this smoke. I’m a Maverick, we eat bunnies for breakfast.”

On his relationship with Bad Bunny:

“I don’t know him personally. I do listen to his music. He is excellent. Excellent musician. Ay! That’s what he does.”

On Bad Bunny’s in-ring skills:

“He is good, but he’s scrawny. I’m pushing 250 (lbs). That is the crazy thing in WWE 2K23, he has the same rating as me. Maybe I don’t know anything. Maybe we are the same. Maybe let’s settle this in the ring.”
