• WWE Veteran In AEW Reveals If He Has Retired From In-Ring Competition

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, MVP was asked if he has retired from in-ring competition. Here’s what the former WWE United States Champion said:

“No, not yet. I got a little bit left in me. It’s funny, we did a six-man about a month ago, give or take, and they were teasing me because I was actually in there for a little while, and it felt good.

It was coming back to me, and Shelton said, ‘Are you ever gonna tag out?’ I’m like, ‘Oh yeah, maybe I should.’”

MVP has only wrestled one match in AEW so far. His last match in WWE took place in 2022. He didn’t wrestle any matches in 2023. He wrestled two matches on the indy scene in 2024, and two matches so far in 2025 (one on AEW Dynamite and one on the indy scene).

He is mostly used as the Manager of The Hurt Syndicate (AEW World Tag Team Champions Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) in All Elite Wrestling.

• Hulk Hogan Claims His New Promotion Will Be Bigger Than WWE & UFC

Hulk Hogan has shared new details about Real American Freestyle Wrestling, the promotion he’s launching with Eric Bischoff. Their first event is set for August 30, and interest has been building quickly.

In an interview with Fox & Friends, Hogan explained what makes the promotion different.

“This is freestyle wrestling, but now it’s professional because we’re able to pay the athletes. Izzy (Martinez) is our linchpin, he’s trained Olympic wrestlers, NCAA champions, and top college athletes. He helped us recruit elite talent and get them signed.”

Hogan also talked about where he sees the company heading.

“We’re not trying to go head-to-head with Dana White (UFC) or WWE. But our goal is to be just as big, if not bigger. This is an underserved market, and we’re here to change that.”
