• WWE Was Unhappy With Randy Orton For Concussion Tweet

Randy Orton and WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam have met each other in the ring several times over the years. During one of their matches in RVD’s first WWE run, things didn’t go as planned because The Viper suffered a concussion mid-match and had to be carried through it by RVD.

Speaking on his 1 Of A Kind podcast, RVD revealed that Orton later got heat for mentioning the incident on X.

“This is on my way out from WWE, I guess it’s okay to talk about. But Randy got heat for going on Twitter or something and saying, ‘Thank goodness for Rob carrying me through that match, I was out the whole time.

It was one of the very last ones. Was either a Stretcher Match or the one right before that, but when he hit the corner post, like, towards the beginning, he was just out. Sometimes that happens, and you would never even think about stopping the match.”

A fan asked the following question to Orton on X back in 2010:

“What was your toughest match so far that you have been in the WWE? And what was your favorite match that you ever competed in?”

Orton replied:

“Back in 03 or 04 I got a concussion in a match w/ RVD and I could barely see straight, and went another 20 minutes.”

This is the tweet in question that lines up with RVD’s story.

• The Rock Will Have Creative Power In John Cena’s Final Match

John Cena kicked off his Retirement Tour at the start of the year and sent shockwaves through the pro wrestling world by turning heel at Elimination Chamber and aligning himself with The Rock.

The Final Boss was expected to play a major role in the storyline, but he did not make an appearance after the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.

Cena now has four appearances left on his schedule, with his final match set for Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington D.C. on December 13. His final opponent has not been announced yet.

Speaking on the New Heights podcast, The Rock, who is also a member of TKO’s Board of Directors, discussed the 17-time World Champion’s final match and revealed that he has a little influence in its booking.

“Ooo… that’s a good one. Two of my favorites, man. I have a tiny bit of influence in the booking of it, but it’s really whoever John wants. That’s what it comes down to. Shouldn’t be me, shouldn’t be Nick Khan, shouldn’t be Triple H. It’s whoever John wants — he’s earned it.

And you know what the best part about John is? He comes as advertised. Who you think he is — that’s who he is. He’s a good dude, and I love that guy.”

John Cena defeated AJ Styles at Crown Jewel last Saturday. Before The GOAT’s last match, he is set to make two appearances on RAW and an appearance at Survivor Series: WarGames.
