• More Sad News For Roman Reigns’ Fans

Behind the scenes, WWE has started laying the groundwork for Roman Reigns’ highly anticipated comeback. According to WrestleVotes, new merchandise and marketing materials are already in development, signaling that the company is getting serious about bringing The OTC back into the spotlight.

While there had been talks about involving Reigns at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia this Saturday, plans shifted and now the focus is firmly on his return ahead of SummerSlam, where he’s expected to play a major role.

Interestingly, WWE is also exploring variations of the “Tribal Chief” moniker, hinting at a possible refresh or evolution of his character when he resurfaces. However, Reigns’ return to WWE programming isn’t expected to last long.

It has now been confirmed that Roman will play the role of Akuma in the live-action “Street Fighter” movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the shooting for this movie will begin in August and it will take place in Australia. This means Roman will take time off from WWE TV once again after SummerSlam.

The former WWE Champion was last seen on WWE TV on the RAW after WrestleMania 41, where he was attacked by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker.
