8. Bad News For Raw
In what turns out to be a bad news for Raw, the viewership for this week’s show dropped below the 3 million mark. This week’s show, which was headlined by Cesaro vs. Rusev for the United States Championship, drew 2.91 million viewers. This is down from last week’s 3.34 million viewers.
This was the lowest viewed non-holiday episode of Raw of the modern era. Below are the 3 lowest rated Raw episodes of 2016:
– July 4th Episode: 1.87 rating
– June 13th Episode: 2.03 rating
– August 8th Episode: 2.05 rating
Speaking of Raw, next week’s episode is the go-home episode of Raw for SummerSlam 2016 and Brock Lesnar is scheduled to appear on the show. Also, Seth Rollins will call out Finn Balor’s alter-ego, The Demon King, on the episode as well.
7. Possible SummerSlam 2016 Kickoff Match, When Will Eva Marie’s Official SmackDown Live Debut Happen?
On last night’s episode of SmackDown Live, “The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin attacked Kalisto in a backstage segment of the show. After beating up the former 2 time United States Champion, Corbin noted that this was for costing him the Intercontinental Championship. For those who don’t get it, there was a Triple Threat #1 contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship on last week’s episode of SmackDown Live between Corbin, Kalisto & Apollo Crews (Crews won it).
It looks like Corbin & Kalisto might square off in the SummerSlam 2016 Kickoff show. Below is what the SummerSlam 2016 match card looks like at the moment:

Speaking of last night’s episode of SmackDown Live, Eva Marie suffered a kayfabe wardrobe malfunction and yet again backed out from wrestling Becky Lynch. Eva’s spot was then taken by Alexa Bliss, who went on to defeat Becky (after distraction from Eva who came out later in the match). It should be noted that it was Alexa’s 25th birthday yesterday.
Eva will now finally make her official debut on next week’s episode of SmackDown Live, which will be the go-home edition of the show for SummerSlam 2016.
