– On a recent episode of his weekly ‘Kliq This’ podcast, Old School WWF / WCW Legend Kevin Nash revealed that former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega reminds him of his good friend Sean Waltman (aka X-Pac).
Here’s what Nash had to say:
“Has anybody seen the match that Kenny Omega had with an 8 year old Japanese girl? I watched it last night, and some of that sh*t looked stiff. Kenny reminds me of Sean Waltman, where he can just have a match with anybody.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Kenny’s because of the fact that Kenny would even do that match. It was another notch in why he’s my favorite wrestler.”

Speaking of Omega, he tweeted the following message for fans who are angry at Jade Cargill for leaving AEW to go to WWE:
“This may be news to a lot of fans out there, but when one wrestler goes from one company to another, we tend to always wish them the best and cheer for them while they embark on their new journey. Genuinely.
It’s embarrassing and shameful that some fans aren’t capable of the same.”
– Adam Cole revealed on last night’s AEW Dynamite that he needs surgery after he injured his ankle last week.
However, MJF refused to vacate the ROH Tag Team Championship and will defend the Titles by himself in a Handicap Match this Sunday against The Righteous at the AEW WrestleDream PPV.
AEW wrestler Britt Baker (Adam’s girlfriend) tweeted the following about Cole’s injury:
“This guy broke his ankle in 3 places on a freak accident. He still hobbled around on live tv because as we like to say ‘the show must go on’.
Adam Cole gives his entire heart and soul to pro wrestling. He’s one tough cookie and this is just a small bump in the road. He’ll be back better than ever BAYBAY 👊🏻”
