• Yet Another Top AEW Star Is Injured

AEW World Champion CM Punk announced on Rampage that he is injured and will require surgery.

In the main event of Rampage, Scorpio Sky defeated Dante Martin to retain the TNT Championship.

Sky got hurt during this match and tweeted the following about it:

“I went into last night’s match with my knee bothering me and unfortunately in the opening minutes I strained a muscle that goes from my knee up through my groin. My right leg was useless from then on.

Despite that, wrestling in SoCal felt amazing even on one leg.

Hopefully nothing serious and I’ll be back to defend again soon.”

Yet another top AEW star is injured right now – Bryan Danielson (fka Daniel Bryan in WWE).

Bryan last wrestled at the Double Or Nothing PPV and most probably got injured there, as he hasn’t wrestled since.

According to Fightful Select, Bryan missed an event this weekend because he’s not allowed to take a flight right now because of his injury:

“Danielson missed the scheduled meet & greet, and when fans showed, they were told that he would not be there.

A staff member told a fan that Danielson was injured and unable to fly, which the venue itself also confirmed.”
