Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon is arguably the most developed rivalry going into SummerSlam. Owens and McMahon have been going at it for more than a month. Kevin Owens dominated the entire rivalry on the road to SummerSlam, but it took Shane one beating to settle the scores.

This week on SmackDown, Owens hosted “The Kevin Owens Show” with special guest Shane McMahon. Owens asked him to put his career on the line at SummerSlam, but The Best In The World denied.

As expected, things got out of hands quickly, and both wrestlers got physical. Shane O’Mac already had backup with him, which was Elias. Although Owens took out Elias, McMahon took advantage and gave Owens a vicious beat-down. We may get to see Elias interrupt during the match tonight as well.

In WWE, whoever stands tall on the go-home shows, usually loses the match at the PPV, so we can expect Shane to lose as well. Moreover, the stipulation pretty much tells us who will walk out of SummerSlam as the winner. Obviously, WWE won’t make KO quit at a time when they desperately need top stars, so we can expect Owens to win this bout.
