6. Goldberg Squashes Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler’s recent appearances on Miz TV have been a little hint towards a potential Goldberg vs. Ziggler rivalry. Ziggler had been using the phrase “Goldberg Bad” for things he disliked. A couple of weeks ago on SmackDown, Ziggler interrupted Shawn Michaels and called his performance at WWE Crown Jewel, “Goldberg Bad”.
Goldberg had enough of Ziggler’s disrespect, and decided to come out and confront Ziggler for taking shots at him continuously. The WCW Legend made a surprise appearance on this week’s RAW, during Miz TV with Shawn Michaels and Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler was tricked by The Miz into signing a contract which actually made a match against Goldberg official for SummerSlam.
Like every Goldberg match, we can expect this one to end in seconds too. WWE usually doesn’t allow competition against Goldberg, unless he’s fighting a legend or a real threat like Brock Lesnar. In addition, Goldberg wants redemption from the match at WWE Super ShowDown, so this is most probably the opportunity to get it.
Squashing The Showoff will help Goldberg “erase” the memory of his match at WWE Super ShowDown, as he said before. In addition, Vince McMahon loves to ruin Dolph Ziggler’s momentum whenever he’s doing something good, so expect Ziggler vs. Goldberg to end instantly tonight.
