11 Active WWE Personalities Who Were Suspended

9. Luke Gallows

You might not remember, but Luke Gallows of The O.C. also has a 30-day suspension from WWE to his name.

Gallows received an early suspension in October 2006, still acting in the development territory under the name of Freakin’ Deacon – where he was considered The Undertaker and Kane’s brother.

The reason for his suspension was failing a drug test. He later debuted on the main roster as Festus, but was released from the company a few years later. Gallows returned to WWE as a big star alongside Karl Anderson in 2016.

8. Dolph Ziggler

Another surprising name in this list is that of The Showoff. Dolph Ziggler was suspended by the WWE on October 10, 2008 for failing a drug test. The duration of his suspension was 30 days.

The timing of Ziggler’s suspension proved to be very unlucky for him, as WWE had introduced him as the Dolph Ziggler character for the first time just then. However, he wasn’t punished by the company after completing his 30-day suspension period.

Ziggler learned from his mistake and has owned it in several interviews. Now working as a veteran in the WWE, Ziggler is pretty cautious of WWE’s Wellness Policy.
