5 Cases of Don't Bring Your Wife Into The Wrestling Business

3. “The Macho Man” Randy Savage

Probably THE single greatest Love Story in professional wrestling history. Period.

Also there is probably no better post-match segment, than the reunion of “The Macho Man” Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth, after the Career vs Career match at WWF WrestleMania VII.

Miss Elizabeth and Randy Savage got married in 1984, and when he joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1985, he brought her in as his manager & valet.

Who could forget the famous ‘Match Made In Heaven’ SummerSlam 1991 Main Event, when they “got married” (kayfabe) on PPV?

Despite getting divorced in 1992, Miss Elizabeth later joined Randy Savage as his manager & valet, when both worked for WCW, but contrary to various rumors, both never got together again and they worked together on a strictly professional level.

It was during their time in WCW, when Miss Elizabeth started dating Lex Luger, whom she stayed together until she passed away on May 1, 2003.

While Lex Luger did NOT kill her, like some less informed IWC Smark pages often claim, he was certainly the worst role model and boyfriend anyone could imagine, when she died on an overdose of a poisonous pain killers/cocaine/alcohol mix, while Luger was there with her.
