3. Johnny Gargano
Johnny Wrestling made his main roster debut earlier this year, but then he disappeared all of a sudden. WWE was going through a bad phase in regards to ratings, which is why Triple H brought some talent from the yellow brand to freshen up things on the main roster.
Gargano made his debut alongside Tommaso Ciampa and battled top teams like The Revival and The Bar. The former NXT Champion was rumored to permanently move to the WWE main roster after he dropped the NXT Championship to Adam Cole at NXT Takeover: XXV.
Gargano has definitely done his time in NXT and proved that he has what it takes to become a star on the main roster if given the chance. He carried the brand as one of the top guys during Ciampa’s absence. With Tommaso Ciampa and Finn Balór back in NXT, it would be best for Gargano to move to the main roster.
Although travelling would be a little difficult for Gargano if his wife, Candice LeRae, stays on NXT, WWE could solve that by promoting both of them to the main roster. Despite his size, Gargano could be one of the top names on the main roster, just like Ricochet, if WWE uses him correctly.
