1. John Morrison

WWE has a habit of pulling several surprise picks whenever the Draft takes place. Back in 2016, they shocked the WWE Universe with the announcement of Shelton Benjamin’s return to SmackDown during the draft. We can expect some surprises this year as well.
3 Time Intercontinental Champion John Morrison may be the most surprising pick at this year’s Draft.
According to PWInsider, WWE has finalised a deal with Morrison and he is set to make his return soon, but it isn’t yet known when that will be or which brand he will join.
Soon after the rumors surfaced online, Morrison and his wife took to Twitter to deny them, which further legitimized PWInsider’s claim because it’s obvious that Morrison wants to keep his return a secret.
Thanks for the heads up @PWInsidercom 🤣 please lemme know when I’m signed with AEW- or ROH

The gossip I’ve read about myself and my husband in the last 24hrs is astounding 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Since leaving WWE in 2011, Morrison wrestled in different promotions including Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground which has made him a bigger deal than he was back in 2011.
Morrison will greatly help WWE against AEW if they book him in the right way. The WWE Universe will surely be intrigued to see Morrison back if he’s picked during the Draft.
