2. The Street Profits

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, The Street Profits, were called up to the main roster this past summer. It’s been more than 3 months but WWE has restricted the duo to backstage segments. They are yet to show off their skills in the ring.
At the start of July, then-NXT Tag Team Champions made their first appearance on the main roster. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that WWE wanted them to be over with the crowd before they started competing.
Soon after their debut on the main roster, The Street Profits lost the NXT Tag Team Championship to Bobby Fish and Kyle O’ Reilly of The Undisputed Era. After their loss, the WWE Universe expected Ford and Dawkins to step inside the ring, but they continued with the backstage segments.
Last week’s episode of NXT featured a rematch between The Street Profits and The Undisputed Era for the NXT Tag Team Titles in which Fish and O’ Reilly came out on top. This loss has most probably put an end to The Street Profits’ run on the yellow brand.
Ford and Dawkins haven’t been featured in backstage segments for the past couple of weeks. It looks like they’ll be returning to the main roster after the Draft and finally make their in-ring debut.
