5 Things That Need To Happen At WrestleMania 32

WWE WrestleMania 32

4. Brock Lesnar vs. Kevin Owens

There were rumors that Steve Austin would be returning for one more match next year at WrestleMania 32 and will be facing Brock Lesnar.

The speculation increased when Austin & Paul Heyman teased it on the Stone Cold Podcast, but the rumors were shot down by Austin who said he’s done with wrestling. Some reports also suggested that Vince McMahon wants to do Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock, a rematch from SummerSlam 2002 with the tagline “The Biggest Rematch of All Time”. However, if that match happens, who will do the job for the other?

Here’s a thing, The Rock’s last match in WWE was at WrestleMania 29, where he lost the WWE Title to John Cena. It’s hard to think of The Rock losing 2 matches in a row, especially his return match after 2 years (yes, it will be a big deal). On the other hand, why would you make Brock Lesnar lose to an already established mega star and future Hall of Famer?

Brock Lesnar broke The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania & destroyed the 15 time World Champion John Cena to capture his first World Title in over 10 years. He’s the hottest thing going in WWE at the moment and he hasn’t been pinned since WrestleMania 29. Lesnar should lose to a guy who is the future of the company. So his match with The Rock doesn’t make sense. So who should he face?

Well, here’s an idea: Brock Lesnar vs. Kevin Owens – WrestleMania 32. Big fight feel, huh? Kevin Owens started off his WWE career on a high note by defeating John Cena in his very first match on the main roster in WWE. He’s one of the top heels of the company. Since Lesnar has turned babyface, and being the #1 babyface on the roster, why not face the top heel? Both of these wrestlers can cause destruction and this will definitely be a match worth paying to see at WrestleMania 32.
