2. Hulk Hogan’s Last WWE Match
Hulk Hogan wants to have one last wrestling match. He wants to end his career in WWE. Here’s quote from Hogan regarding WrestleMania 32:
“I had a run-in with Vince McMahon after the last WrestleMania. I saw him in the lobby and said: ‘I know what’s going on. Next year, WrestleMania is in Dallas and you’re going to try to break my attendance record. Let me tell you something, brother, there’s no way you’re running that show next year without me on the card! Whether it’s for my last hurrah, my retirement match, my next run, or to beat whoever the champion is and be champion again!’ Vince shook my hand and said, ‘I look forward to it.’”
Now a lot of people will say he’s 61, he can’t move, his back is messed up, the match will be awful, & more such stuff. But there’s a way in which this could happen, and in a safe way as well. First of all, Hulk Hogan’s back is in good shape after multiple back surgeries and he’s training like a maniac for about an year now to get into wrestling shape & has been doing powerlifting training for strength & maintaining his size. He has also been doing cardio & body coordination training.
Now coming to the point of Hogan having a bad match & not taking much bumps due to various risks, why not put him in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and book him as the winner? As we all know, winning that battle royal doesn’t do any good to your career, it wouldn’t hurt to give Hulk Hogan his last hurrah on the grandest stage of them all. Also, the battle royal is just about punches, kicks and eliminating your opponent. Hogan can easily do that without taking any major bumps.
Sounds good? Or would you prefer him in a non-wrestling role? Well, if WWE wants to fill the AT&T Stadium with 100,000 people, they need to advertise Hulk Hogan’s last match. It should be noted that Hulk Hogan’s last WrestleMania match was at WrestleMania 19.
