4. The Amount of Houseshows were reduced

With Business being at an all time low in general, not just for World Championship Wrestling but for the World Wrestling Federation aswell, not just the PPV Buys but also the Ticket Sales were down big time.

While the Tapings in the Walt Disney Studios, where they taped several weeks of TV at once, were somewhat profitable, the House Shows were losing money big time. The average Live Event Attendance Numbers were around 3000 people, which was a joke, considering the Huge Names they had on their Roster that Year: Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage, Sting, Ric Flair, Big Van Vader, … & more

Something had to be done and the clever Business Man Eric Bischoff is, he knew the only way to cut short term losses for the Live Event Business, was to reduce the Numbers of House Shows & Untelevised Events.
