4. Bayley vs. Lacey Evans – SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
After their loss at Survivor Series, “The Boss” Sasha Banks and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley both took shots at all the members of the women’s SmackDown team. But when Bayley named Lacey Evans, Evans wasted no time to come to the ring and confront Banks and Bayley. The Sassy Southern Belle turned babyface and hit The Boss with a Woman’s Right.
The following week on SmackDown, Sasha Banks came out to confront Evans after her match. She tried to make things personal with Evans by mentioning her daughter. Evans tried to get physical with her, but Banks retreated successfully.
When Evans was walking back to the locker room, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley came out to settle the score with her. Banks and Bayley then beat down Evans.
After the beat-down from Bayley, there were reports of Bayley defending her Title against The Sassy Southern Belle at TLC last Sunday. However, WWE decided to delay the match as they wanted to build it up more.
The current plan is for Lacey Evans to continue her rivalry with Bayley and Sasha Banks on the road to Royal Rumble, which in turn will lead to a match between Bayley and Evans for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Royal Rumble next month.
