2. Becky Lynch vs. Asuka – RAW Women’s Championship Match
The Kabuki Warriors fought Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair in the first ever Women’s Tag Team TLC match to defend their Women’s Tag Team Championship last Sunday. The match ended with Asuka unhooking the Titles to end the last pay-per-view match of 2019 with a win for her and Kairi Sane.
Sane and Asuka not only retained the Titles, but they also defeated the ultimate duo of Flair and Lynch who are considered the top two women on RAW.
The following night on RAW, Becky Lynch laid down a challenge for Asuka. The RAW Women’s Champion has dominated almost every woman on the roster over the past year, but she hasn’t been able to take out Asuka.
The Women’s Tag Team Champion has been quite lucky in her competition against The Man. She defeated Lynch and Flair in a Triple-Threat match to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship at TLC last year. At Royal Rumble earlier this year, she defeated Lynch in singles competition to retain the title.
The Man wants to prove herself by defeating Asuka. Asuka is expected to accept her challenge next week, which will set up a Title match between the two women at Royal Rumble next month.
