Mandy Rose defeated Sonya Deville in a No Disqualification, Loser Leaves WWE match at SummerSlam, which led to Deville leaving the company as part of the storyline.
As we noted earlier, her loss may be leading to her returning with a new name and gimmick, as she doesn’t want to be called “Sonya Deville” anymore.
In a post-match backstage interview, Deville was asked about her loss to Rose at SummerSlam, but she replied:
“Do not call me that ever again!”
Until she’s done with the stalker case, WWE may have vignettes air for her and have her return as Daria Berenato (her real name) or some other name.
