The Best Kept Secret has been in the spotlight since being drafted to RAW last year. He won his first major Title on the main roster alongside Seth Rollins, when the two of them defeated The Viking Raiders for the RAW Tag Team Championship earlier this year.
The Executive Director of RAW, Paul Heyman, is a huge supporter of Murphy. He put Murphy and Aleister Black in several matches on RAW to give them an opportunity to showcase their talent.
Murphy joining Seth Rollins’ stable indicated that he would be a significant part of WrestleMania this year. However, that isn’t the case. Rollins is booked to face Kevin Owens at this year’s show, while Murphy isn’t booked for the event.
He might not even be ringside during the match because WWE is being precautious due to the Coronavirus pandemic and he has not been cleared to appear.
Murphy was reportedly slated to defend the RAW Tag Team Titles alongside Seth Rollins against Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe, but plans probably changed due to Joe’s suspension and injury.
