• AEW Coach Compares CM Punk & Daniel Bryan Joining AEW To Hulk Hogan & Bret Hart Joining WCW
During a recent interview with TV Insider, WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry (who is a backstage coach in AEW) was asked about CM Punk & Daniel Bryan being rumored to have signed with All Elite Wrestling.
Here’s what The World’s Strongest Man said:
“I think it’s amazing if it happens. As a fan, I want to see it. But I don’t want to know. Don’t tell me. Let me find out like the fans, so I can react just like the fans.
I’m not the gossipy type. I won’t walk around the locker room trying to get gossip. I don’t want that, but I do think either gentleman or both gentlemen would be groundbreakers.
They would be able to do something in AEW like when Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart went to WCW from WWF. It would be a positive step. It’s not like we have to have that in AEW, but they would be welcomed additions.”

Old School Wrestling Veteran Johnny Ace (Real name: John Laurinaitis) celebrates his 59th birthday today.
Johnny Ace worked for several promotions during the 80s & 90s, but most famously wrestled for Jim Crockett Promotions and All Japan Pro Wrestling.
Most Old School Wrestling fans remember him as the flagbearer for The Sheepherders (later known as The Bushwhackers) and teaming with Shane Douglas as “The Dynamic Dudes”.
John is the brother of Road Warrior Animal (The Legion of Doom) & Fury (The Wrecking Crew), as well as the step-father of The Bella Twins, Nikki & Brie.
