• Old School WWF Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Veteran Tugboat aka Typhoon (Real name: Fred Ottman) celebrates his 64th birthday today.

He wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation from 1990 till 1993, then went to WCW, where he was called The Shockmaster, whom pretty much everybody remembers for tripping through a wall LIVE on national TV (TBS).

Typhoon returned to the WWF for a few months in 1994 and also for 1 night when he was an entrant in the Gimmick Battle Royal at WrestleMania X-Seven in 2001.

Him and his deceased partner Earthquake († R.I.P.) are rumored to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year, but at this moment those rumors are anything but confirmed.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TUGBOAT!

• Backstage News On RETRIBUTION Members, SmackDown Didn’t Feature Real Faction Members

RETRIBUTION is WWE’s newest faction and they are here to cause chaos in the company.

NXT wrestlers like Dominik Dijakovic and Tommaso Ciampa are rumored to be a part of this faction, but that didn’t seem to be the case as the RETRIBUTION members that invaded SmackDown last week were very short.

The reason behind that is WWE didn’t use the real members on SmackDown, and used random wrestlers to throw the fans off.

Tom Colohue also noted that this faction will mostly consist of upcoming NXT call-ups:

“The WWE do know. There is an actual plan for these particular individuals. The idea of a new faction was something that was written at the last minute. From what I can tell, this was essentially the NXT call-ups who were coming up soon, who were sitting by the sidelines waiting for the opportunity, for example, Dominik Dijakovic and Chelsea Green are people that have been mentioned, maybe Vanessa Borne as well.”
