8. What Happened After Raw Went Off The Air?
Battleground 2016 match happened after Raw went off the air when the team of John Cena & Enzo Amore/Big Cass defeated The Club (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) in a 6 man tag team match.
After the match, a cancer survivor kid from Make-A-Wish was brought into the ring by Cena and was named an honorary WWE Superstar for the night. You can watch it below:
7. WWE Inspired By TNA’s Newest Match Idea?
On tonight’s episode of TNA Impact Wrestling, “The Final Deletion” match between Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy will air. This match was taped in Matt’s “compound” in North Carolina.
Word is that some of the WWE wrestlers watched the above video of the Final Deletion match and this match has inspired WWE officials to do a similar kind of match. As seen on last night’s Raw, The Wyatt Family invited The New Day to their compound in the swamp.
At Battleground 2016, expect The Wyatts and The New Day to have a similar kind of match to that of the Hardys.
