7. Reason For Randy Orton Not Competing At Backlash 2016, Interesting Heath Slater Statistic

As we saw at Backlash 2016, Randy Orton didn’t compete against Bray Wyatt due to an injury. Kane was named Orton’s replacement and he fought Wyatt in a No Holds Barred match.

Orton came out during the match and laid out Wyatt with an RKO. Kane followed up with a Chokeslam and pinned Wyatt. It should be noted that the reason Orton didn’t compete was due to his staples (to close his head after SummerSlam 2016). WWE feels Orton’s staples have not fully closed.

It should be noted that Heath Slater became the 1st man to hold both versions of the current WWE Tag Team Titles. He held the Raw version of the Tag Team Titles along with Justin Gabriel, and currently holds the SmackDown Tag Team Titles along with Rhyno.
