1. Rick Rude’s Son Passes Away In A Motorcycle Accident
According to Rome News-Tribune, son of late great WWF & WCW Legend Rick Rude passed away in a recent motorcycle accident. Below is what Rome News-Tribune reported:
[tps_footer]Nineteen-year-old Colton Rood died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle wreck on Floyd Springs Road. Rood, of 22 Norman Lane in Rome, played basketball for Armuchee High School and graduated in 2015. He was pronounced dead at 3:37 p.m. Saturday in Floyd Medical Center, Proctor said.
Floyd County police officer Ron Hunton said Rood was traveling south on Floyd Springs Road on a 2014 Yamaha 950 motorcycle when a 2010 silver Toyota Camry turned into his path at around 2:50 p.m.
The driver of the Camry, 58-year-old Tonita Jo Rudd of Kennesaw, was northbound and was trying to turn left into a driveway, Hunton added.
She was charged with misdemeanor vehicular homicide and failure to yield and was being held in jail on a $2,600 bond Saturday night.
