6. WWE World Title Match Official For Backlash 2016

SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan announced on tonight’s episode that AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler will compete in the main event of tonight’s show.

The stipulation was if Styles wins, he faces Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Title one-on-one at Backlash 2016, and if Ziggler wins, the WWE World Title match at Backlash 2016 becomes a Triple Threat match between Ambrose, Styles & Ziggler.

In the main event of the show, Styles defeated Ziggler in a great match and will now get his WWE World Title shot at Backlash 2016. This will be Styles’ 3rd WWE World Title PPV match this year.

5. Carmella Turns Heel on SmackDown Live

On tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live, Nikki Bella made her way out for a match with Carmella, who she pinned at SummerSlam 2016. Nikki was being interviewed by Renee Young before the match and Carmella attacked her during the interview and viciously attacked her.

While Nikki is not liked by a lot of fans, she is a babyface at the moment and gets babyface reaction. So it looks like Carmella turned heel on tonight’s episode. Carmella attacked Nikki on Talking Smack as well.
