4. Randy Orton – Bray Wyatt Feud Officially Kicks Off, Raw Rating For This Week’s Episode
“The Viper” Randy Orton appeared on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live to address his TKO loss to Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2016.
He was interrupted by “The New Face of Fear” Bray Wyatt and their feud kicked off. It should be noted that Eric Rowan wasn’t with Wyatt tonight and it looks like the Wyatt Family is done. We noted last week as well that Wyatt is scheduled to feud with Orton after SummerSlam as the two had a face-off on last week’s SmackDown Live.
It looks like Randy Orton will face Bray Wyatt at Backlash 2016, which is a SmackDown exclusive PPV and will take place on September 11.
As we noted earlier, this week’s episode of WWE Raw (which was the post-SummerSlam 2016 episode of Raw and featured Finn Balor relinquishing the Universal Championship, Bayley’s official Raw debut & Roman Reigns defeating Chris Jericho in the main event) saw an increase in viewership in comparison to the previous weeks.
This week’s episode drew 3.32 million viewers, which is up from last week’s 2.92 million viewers.
The final rating of the show is 2.34, which is up from last week’s 2.12.
