• Eddie Kingston Comments On Getting Suspended From AEW
Eddie Kingston hasn’t appeared on AEW programming as of late and it is because he’s secretly suspended.
Kingston and Sammy Guevara had an altercation backstage, where Kingston took a swing at Guevara for making a comment about his physique.
Eddie vs. Sammy was scheduled to take place at next month’s All Out pay-per-view, but it looks like it won’t be happening anymore.
Here’s what Fightful Select reported about it:
“Rumors among talent that we’ve heard about said that Guevara and Kingston had developed heat and it devolved into an altercation.
The word backstage was that Guevara made a comment about Kingston’s physique, and Kingston took a swing at him.”
Kingston issued the following statement to PWInsider about his suspension:
“You know the truth. I wouldn’t lie. I was wrong for being unprofessional. That is the blind fact. He did what he did and the public can judge that but I know for a fact I was wrong.”
Eddie is expected to return to AEW TV soon, as word going on is that his suspension is already over.
