• Kenny Omega Blames Jim Cornette For Recent Incident In AEW, Cornette Responds
We recently reported about a fan trying to get into the ring during AEW’s TV special Road Rager and how that rioter seems to be a fan of Old School WWF Manager Jim Cornette.
You can watch it below:
Cornette bashed the fan on Twitter though and then blocked him.
Here’s what that fan tweeted:
“@TheJimCornette @GreatBrianLast, how did you like my #AEW debut? I did this for all of us real wrestling fans, wrestling is no longer a safe space for friends to dance around and play dress up. Reality can hit at anytime, did they think it is going to be f**king playtime forever?”
Cornette replied the following to him:
“Got news for you dipsh*t, the ring is sacred ground for US, and even if you and a lot of others THINK you can kick the sh*t out of the Young Bucks, I would have turned you into a tennis racket popsicle, & you’re lucky someone there didn’t gut you like a fish. And you’re blocked.”
Current AEW World Champion & IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Kenny Omega blamed the legendary manager for this incident happening in the first place.
Here’s what Kenny tweeted:
“Is it finally time to assume some responsibility and dial the online persona back a bit? Your low IQ man children have evolved from parroting your comments to actually acting out in (attempted) violence.”
Cornette then replied the following to Omega:
“You & I agree for the first time–this guy IS a moron, or he wouldn’t have been at a show with your phony a$$ on it. Two clarifications: Unlike you I’ve SEEN violence in an arena & this wasn’t it, & secondly looking at your supporters I wouldn’t toss the phrase ‘low IQ’ around.
Also, Turdblossom, I don’t have an ‘online persona’ because unlike you I’m not a complete f**king fake. If you don’t like my opinion I really don’t give 2 sh*ts, but I don’t have to make ANYTHING up to tell you what I think about your phony a$$.”
Omega then replied the following:
“Hey Jim, I think you’re one of the greatest wrestling historians going and I enjoyed your work with #darksideofthering. For whatever it’s worth, I sincerely hope that you’re remembered for your positive contributions to the wrestling business. That’s all.”
