6. Seth Rollins vs. Rey Mysterio – No Holds Barred
Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio have been at a verbal war since The Monday Night Messiah injured Mysterio’s eye by pressing his face into the steel ring steps.
Mysterio and his son Dominik are expected to show up on this week’s RAW to confront Rollins, and things are likely to get physical. Mysterio promised Rollins that he’ll hit him with a 619 when he returns.
A one-on-one encounter between Rollins and Mysterio could take place at Extreme Rules. A “No Holds Barred” match would make sense, because of the nature of this PPV and their heated rivalry.
5. AJ Styles (c) vs. Sami Zayn – Intercontinental Championship Match
The Phenomenal One won his first Intercontinental Championship in WWE by defeating Daniel Bryan in the final round of the Intercontinental Championship tournament last week on SmackDown.
This Friday on SmackDown, he’ll be looking forward to his next challenger. It’s rumored that former Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn is set to return soon, the man who was stripped off the Title, which led to Styles winning it.
Zayn already sent out a warning to the new Intercontinental Champion on Twitter, which could be a hint that he’s going to feud for the Title when he returns.
