2. Asuka (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax – RAW Women’s Championship Match
Asuka retained her RAW Women’s Championship against Nia Jax at the Backlash pay-per-view after their match ended in a Double Count-Out.
WWE already planted the seeds for the RAW Women’s Champion’s next feud over the past two weeks. Charlotte Flair is expected to be Asuka’s next opponent, as she got two wins over her on the past two episodes of RAW. The first win came via count-out and the second one came via pinfall (due to Nia Jax’s distraction).
But the feud between Asuka and Jax will also continue, as there was no definite winner at Backlash.
A Triple-Threat match for the RAW Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules looks likely, unless WWE makes Flair and Jax battle for a Title shot in the coming weeks.
