1. Edge

Arguably the biggest return of this decade took place at this year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
The Rated R Superstar made his return at #21 in the Men’s Royal Rumble match and had a pretty impressive performance in it. The seeds for his WrestleMania match were also planted during it.
On the RAW after Royal Rumble, Edge came out to thank the fans for the warm welcome they gave him, but unfortunately things did not end well for him. Randy Orton (who was eliminated by Edge from the Rumble match) came out to act like he was happy for Edge, but he ended up brutalizing the WWE Hall of Famer. He crossed the line and used steel chairs to try to damage Edge’s neck.
In Edge’s case, we won’t talk about him missing WrestleMania 35 only. The WWE Hall Of Famer hasn’t competed at WrestleMania in 9 years.
He last competed at WrestleMania in 2011, where he defeated Alberto Del Rio to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. It also turned out to be the last match of his career (at that time).
Edge is going to face Randy Orton at this year’s WrestleMania in his first singles match in 9 years. It’s ironic how his return match will take place at the event where his career ended.
