From competing at NXT TakeOver events for NXT UK, to competing at NXT TakeOver events for the main NXT brand, to competing at “The Grandest Stage Of Them All”, Rhea Ripley quickly rose to success in the WWE.
At this time last year, the current NXT Women’s Champion was working as the face of the NXT UK Women’s division. After completely dominating the brand, she showed up on NXT to become a fan-favourite there. By the end of 2019, Ripley dethroned Shayna Baszler to become the NXT Women’s Champion.
Her impressive performance since the time she joined NXT has made her the representative of the black and gold brand at WrestleMania. She’s the only wrestler from NXT who’s going to be a part of the main show of the event.
Ripley is set to defend her NXT Women’s Title in the biggest match of her career against Women’s Royal Rumble 2020 winner, 10 time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.
