• More On Velveteen Dream’s Car Accident

Former NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream was involved in a car accident this past Friday, and got released from the hospital the same day. Fortunately, no severe injuries were reported to him.

WWE confirmed the news to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.

Below is what he posted on Twitter:

“WWE has confirmed to me that Velveteen Dream was in a car accident today, and has been released from the hospital.”

In an update to this, Wrestlinginc is reporting that the accident took place around 4 PM on Friday, when Dream failed to stop at a red light and struck another car. The driver of the other car sustained some injuries.

Dream was given a citation, but he won’t appear in court.

Many major sources were reporting that Dream was going to be released by WWE on Friday because of the accusations of him being a pedophile, but it looks like the company has delayed the announcement in view of the accident Dream was a part of.
