• Multiple Reasons For Shawn Michaels To Return For A Match At WrestleMania 35

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels came out of retirement at WWE Crown Jewel earlier this month and teamed up with Triple H (to reunite D-Generation X) to defeat The Brothers Of Destruction.

HBK got paid $3 million for that match and noted in a post-WWE Crown Jewel interview that he’s now going to return to his normal life.

During a recent appearance on E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness podcast, Michaels was asked if he would wrestle a younger guy at WrestleMania 35.

Below is what HBK said:

“The idea of me working against a much younger guy at WrestleMania puts me in a much tougher difficult situation performance-wise and that’s something that has been consistent over the last eight years is I had not wanted to be put in that position because I’m good with the performances I had at WrestleMania and I wanted to end those the way that I ended them.”

However, there are multiple reasons why “Mr. WrestleMania” won’t turn down a match at WrestleMania 35.

“The Big Dog” Roman Reigns is going to miss WrestleMania 35. Triple H could miss WrestleMania 35 as well if he’s unable to recover in time from his chest injury.

With two of WWE’s top guys who have been the top attractions at WrestleMania being out of the picture, expect Vince McMahon to push HBK to come back for one more match.

Also, Brad Shepard noted that HBK isn’t expected to turn down $2 million for a match at WrestleMania 35 (just like how he didn’t turn down $3 million for WWE Crown Jewel), especially after he already came out of retirement.
