WWF Wrestling Challenge – October 25, 1987
A few days before the show, Storyline Announcer and behind the scenes Promoter Vince McMahon had signed The Dingo Warrior from the Texas based Territory WCCW World Class Championship Wrestling, where he quickly made a name for himself within a year.
Only Vince wasn’t too keen on the “Dingo” part in the name, so with Kerry Von Erich being “The Modern Day Warrior” (in WCCW) and Hawk & Animal being “The Road Warriors” (AWA & NWA), Jim Hellwig from now on would be known as “THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR”. The first opponent (or should we say Victim?) of him would be an ‘Enhancement Talent’ called Terry Gibbs, who got squashed easily in under 2 Minutes. You can watch the Full Match below:
