During a recent appearance on the ‘Full Send’ podcast, NWA/WWF/WCW Legend Ric Flair revealed that he once received a 30-day jail sentence over a huge amount of speeding tickets.

However, Flair managed to stay out of jail in the end.

Here’s what The Nature Boy said:

“I got arrested one time and the reciprocal agreement had just gone into effect with different states.

I had 86 moving violations in 2 years. The Judge put me in jail for 30 days, so I appealed to the superior court for habitual speeding and they only fined me $25.

They let me go, but I thought I was going to sit there for 30 days.”

Ric Flair wrestled professionally from his official debut on December 10th 1972 until his (final?) retirement match on July 31st 2022, and has won countless Titles during his long illustrious career, including 16 (official) World Titles, several Tag Team Titles and many, many other Championships.

He also won the 1992 Royal Rumble match, which is still widely considered the single best Royal Rumble match in history.

Flair was the 1st man to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame twice.
