New WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns kicked off this week’s SmackDown with an in-ring promo. Roman talked about spearing Triple H and how he hasn’t been seen on WWE programming ever since the beating he took at TLC 2015. However, Triple H appeared live during Wednesday’s NXT Takeover: London event and was all over Social Media.
The problem here was that SmackDown was taped on Tuesday and aired on Thursday, while Triple H appeared at NXT Takeover: London on Wednesday.
9. Tyler Breeze vs. Goldust Coming Soon?
WWF Veteran Goldust returned on this week’s SmackDown and began a feud with “Prince Pretty” Tyler Breeze. During Tyler Breeze’s match with Titus O’Neil, Goldust came out and sat with Summer Rae in Breeze’s VIP Lounge at ringside.
Goldust distracted Breeze by taking selfies with Breeze’s selfie stick and this resulted in Titus putting Breeze away with his finisher, Clash of the Titus.
8. King Barrett Returns on SmackDown
King Barrett missed TLC 2015 & the post-TLC Raw because of a neck injury. Barrett noted that it wasn’t a major injury but he didn’t want to take any chances.
Barrett returned on SmackDown where he accompanied the League of Nations and helped beat down Ryback.
