7. Will Roman Reigns Get Screwed Yet Again?
During his promo on SmackDown, Roman Reigns noted that his Title reign might not be long as their will be repercussions for actions on Raw.
The former champion Sheamus interrupted him and revealed there’s an investigation going on regarding Reigns and the WWE World Title. Due to this, Roman can’t compete, make any appearance and needs to leave the building.
6. Is Dolph Ziggler Turning Heel?
Dolph Ziggler faced off against Kevin Owens in the main event of SmackDown. The match ended in a DQ and Ziggler was declared the winner when Owens threw Ziggler over the announce table.
Owens then threw him into the Steel Steps and decided to powerbomb him on the steps but the new Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose made the save. Owens managed to escape. Ambrose went on to check on Ziggler but Ziggler went on to superkick him.
Booker T, who was on commentary, speculated that Ziggler did it on purpose.
5. Lucha Dragons Becoming WWE Tag Team Champions Next Week?
On this week’s SmackDown, former NXT Tag Team Champions Lucha Dragons defeated New Day’s Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods. Lucha Dragons defeated New Day on last week’s episode of SmackDown as well.
It was then announced in a backstage segment that New Day will be defending their Titles against The Lucha Dragons on the live episode of SmackDown on USA Network next week.
Expect Lucha Dragons to capture the Tag Titles on that episode as WWE needs to do something big on the live episode of SmackDown on USA Network.
