3. Xavier Woods Wants To Help Kofi Kingston Become WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Says There’s No One More Deserving
During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard, New Day member and current WWE Tag Team Champion Xavier Woods noted that his goal is to help Kofi Kingston win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Below is what Xavier said:
‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin explained that if you’re not trying to be Heavyweight Champion, then you’re in the wrong business. That’s interesting to me because my goal is to make sure Kofi becomes Heavyweight Champion. He is the guy who absolutely deserves it over anyone else in the company. My long-term goal is to help, in whatever way I can, Kofi become Heavyweight Champion.”
It should be noted that Kofi Kingston has won all the active male championships in WWE (4x Intercontinental Champion, 3x United States Champion, 5x Tag Team Champion), except the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
