8. Paul Heyman Returning With Brock Lesnar on Tonight’s Raw
It was announced on last week’s Raw that Brock Lesnar will make his return to WWE programming on this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw. Lesnar’s manager Paul Heyman will also appear on Raw along with him.

There was some speculation regarding Heyman’s WWE status after he didn’t re-sign his WWE contract and was left out of the Draft (while the other managers weren’t). It was being reported that Heyman would re-sign in time for SummerSlam 2016.

This will be Brock Lesnar & Paul Heyman’s first WWE appearance since WrestleMania 32 (where he defeated Dean Ambrose, who is the current WWE Champion, in a No Holds Barred Street Fight). They will address Randy Orton’s comments from Battleground 2016.

Speaking of Raw, it defeated SmackDown Live in last week’s viewership. Raw (which was headlined by Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor) drew 3.39 million viewers while SmackDown Live (which featured Randy Orton’s in-ring return, Rhyno’s main roster return, Shelton Benjamin returning to WWE announcement, and SummerSlam 2016 WWE Title match decision) drew 2.74 million viewers.

7. Jake Roberts Talks About Missing Roddy Piper, Dusty Rhodes & Possible WWE Return; When Will Nikki Bella Return?

During a recent interview with DC 101, WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts talked about missing Roddy Piper & Dusty Rhodes, possible WWE return & more. Below are the highlights:

On missing Roddy Piper and Dusty Rhodes:

“He and Dusty Rhodes, man, they’re irreplaceable. Forget about it, there will never be anybody like Roddy Piper and there will never be anybody like Dusty Rhodes. It just blows my mind that I’m still here and they’re not.”

Will he return to WWE if he was contacted by the company?

“I have so many things I want to do, so many things. When I’m sober and clean and my mind’s working, I’m happy and energetic and I know I can fix this and do that. What do you choose? I don’t know. But, if the WWE did call me, yeah, I’d be right back in there man because I love wrestling and the Lord knows wrestling needs some help right now.”

Former Divas Champion Nikki Bella, who has been out of action with a neck injury, has started training at the WWE Performance Center for her return. She’s expected to return to in-ring action sometime in September.

It is being rumored that Nikki might end up being a part of SmackDown Live.
