16-Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena kicked off tonight’s post-Fastlane episode of SmackDown. Cena welcomed everyone to the Season Premiere and he was interrupted by the returning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
Roman told Cena if he’s going to open his show, he better do it the right away. Roman told the fans to acknowledge him, and they did. Fans started chanting for Cena and Roman said they are cheering for a coward, because Cena only decided to return when he was on his leave, and then WWE had the audacity to call Cena the ‘Greatest of all time’. Roman said:
“You already know who the G.O.A.T. is, it’s Roman Reigns.”
Cena said he’s not here to challenge Reigns, he’s here to acknowledge Reigns. Cena then said Reigns has earned his 1,100+ day title reign, but he won’t challenge him because he hasn’t earned it, but he knows a person who has, which led to LA Knight coming out.
Knight said while Reigns was sitting on his couch for the last two months, things changed here on SmackDown, and he told the fans to tell Roman whose game it is. Roman asked LA who the hell he thinks he is, because he has done things over the last 1,100 days that LA can’t even imagine.
LA said he’s the fastest rising star in the history of SmackDown and Jimmy Uso came out of nowhere to attack LA. However, LA took Jimmy out. Roman wasn’t happy about all of this and left the ring. Roman told Solo to take out LA Knight tonight.
LA Knight vs. Solo Sikoa will be the main event of tonight’s SmackDown.
