Samoa Joe, who made his NXT debut last night at NXT Takeover: Unstoppable, is expected to work tonight’s NXT TV tapings. Joe has signed a 2 year deal with WWE & this deal was done by Triple H.
Samoa Joe’s deal with WWE is very unique as he is allowed to work other Indy events as well for the time being. Samoa Joe will be working this weekend’s JT Lightning Memorial Tournament.
This deal would eventually become a WWE-Exclusive deal, which means Joe won’t be allowed to work other wrestling events. As we noted last night, Samoa Joe’s ring name won’t be changed by WWE.
