Old School WWF Legend Shawn Michaels was interviewed by ‘The Ringer’, where he talked about the infamous Montreal Screwjob incident, that took place 27 years ago.

Michaels revealed that Owen Hart’s reaction wasn’t hateful towards him, but he chose to stay out of the real-life beef between his brother Bret Hart and Shawn.

Keep in mind that Brian Pillman died a month before this incident, and Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart, ‘The British Bulldog’ Davey Boy Smith as well as Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart all jumped ship to Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling, thus leaving Owen the last remaining member of The Hart Foundation faction on the WWF roster.

Here’s what The Heart Break Kid had to say:

“The ill will did not last as long as I feared, because of Vince doing everything he could to take the responsibility and to try to get everyone to understand that it was his call.

And then even Owen (Hart) coming to me after to say, ‘That was between you & Bret and has nothing to do with me & you’. So it wasn’t nearly as bad as it could have been.

I mean, it still felt bad, you know what I mean?”
